Mojca Erdmann will take over the title role “Lulu” for Barbara Hannigan, who had to cancel her participation unfortunately, in Christoph Marthaler’s production at the Hamburg State Opera. The performances are on February 2nd, 5th, 7th and 9th. Tickets are available HERE
On December 11 and 12, Mojca Erdmann sings Strauss’ Lieder in Heidelberg with Elias Grandy conducting the Philharmonisches Orchester Heidelberg. She then performs at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg on December 22, 25 and 26, for three evenings of popular German Christmas carols with the Zürcher Kammerorchester, violinist Ray Chen, harpist Xavier de Maistre, speaker Katharina Thalbach and conductor Christoph Israel.
On September 27 and 30, and October 1 and 3, Mojca Erdmann participates in the “Expectation” concertsseries in Vitoria and San Sebastián, with Robert Trevino and the Euskadi Basque National Orchestra. The program for these evenings will feature five compositions which will be a surprise for the audience and titles will be only revealed at the end of the concert.
Additionally, on September 20 and October 10, she performs arias by Mozart in Bukarest (with Camerata Salzburg) and in Örebro (with Swedish Chamber Orchestra).
Mojca Erdmann will perform Haydn’s “Creation” for second time this year – now under the baton of Zubin Mehta with René Pape, Dmitry Korchak and the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra at the Philharmonie Gasteig on June 22, 23 and 24, 2019.

Mojca Erdmann is jumping in for three concerts with Paavo Järvi and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra singing “Seven Early Songs” by Alban Berg, on May 23, 24 and 25. She is replacing Hanna-Elisabeth Müller who had to cancel due to illness. Mojca is wishing her colleague a speedy recovery!
Mojca Erdmann sings Nanetta in Verdi’s Falstaff at the Dallas Opera from April 26 – May 4.
The rest of the cast features Mark Delavan in the title role, Stephanie Blythe as Dame Quickly, Megan Marino as Meg Page, Alex Mansoori as Bardolfo, Angela Meade as Alice Ford, Quinn Kelsey as Ford and Airam Hernández as Fenton.
Mojca Erdmann starts the year in Heilbronn, singing Haydn’s Creation on January 5, for the New Year’s Concert at the Harmonie Heilbronn. Afterwards, she sings three concerts in Bremen on January 13, 14 and 15. She then appears at Salzburg’s Mozartwoche on January 26 and 30, and February 2.
Mojca Erdmann is starting the new season with two concerts in Copenhagen on September 20 and 21, where she performs Brett Dean’s “From Melodious Lay”, an orchestral poem for soprano, tenor and orchestra under the baton of Jukka-Pekka Saraste.
After this she is performing Mozart’s Requiem in Tokyo on September 24. She travels to Israel then, where she sings Mozart’s “Coronation Mass” under the baton of Zubin Mehta in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv from October 1 – 17.
She gives her debut at the Boulezsaal in Berlin on October 20 with pianist Malcolm Martineau and songs by Franz Schubert.
