Mojca begins an eventful fall on September 14, 16, & 17, joining conductor Andrés Orozco-Estrada and the Houston Symphony Orchestra for An Evening of Dvorák & Mahler, which features Dvorák’s Te Deum and Mahler’s Symphony No. 4. Later in September, Mojca sings in Bonn, joining the Delian Quartet for Fervour in the Heart, a concert of Monteverdi madrigals and Schubert and Wagner lieder performed on September 21.

In October, the German soprano travels to Japan for two concert performances (October 14 & 15) of Berg’s “Lulu Suite” as part of an evening of Mozart and Berg with conductor Tatsuya Shimono, violinist Clara-Jumi Kang and NHK Symphony Orchestra.

The fall season continues with a concert performance of A German Requiem by Johannes Brahms on November 10 at Gran Teatre del Liceu. Conductor Josep Pons leads the Orquestra Simfònica i Cor del Gran Teatre del Liceu in one of the most famous masses for the dead in the Lutheran tradition. Bass baritone José Antonio López also sings.

Following Mojca’s performance in Barcelona, Mojca sings in Cologne for the WDR Funkhausorchester Anniversary Concert on November 18.

Mojca concludes 2017 with a concert on December 14 with the Kuss Quartet at Muziekgebouw aan’t IJ in Amsterdam. The evening includes works by Ludwig van Beehoven, Felix Mendlessohn-Bartholdy and the world premiere of Aribert Reimann’s adaptation of Theodor Kircher’s “Six songs by poems by Heinrich Heine”, a piece Reimann developed specifically for Mojca.
