Soprano Mojca Erdmann makes her debut at Zurich Opera House with Wolfgang Rhim’s Aria/Ariadne: Szenarie. The concert under the musical direction of Gianandrea Noseda will take place on December 18.

Pentatone presents a new album called “Hans Sommer Orchestral Songs”. It includes world-premiere recordings of Hans Sommer’s newly discovered works, sung by an excellent quartet of soloists – Mojca Erdmann, Anke Vondung, Mauro Peter and Benjamin Appl – together with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin under the baton of Guillermo García Calvo. As this year’s artist-in-residence at the CSO Ada Ankara Concert Hall, soprano Mojca Erdmann gives a recital in the Turkish capital on September 17. Together with the pianist Riccardo Bovino, she will present works by Robert Schumann, Clara Schumann, Felix Mendelssohn, and W. A. Mozart.

Mojca Erdmann presents a Romantic song recital for voices, clarinet, cello and piano at Schackenborg Castle in Denmark this weekend. The concert takes place on August 14 with songs by Robert Schumann, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and Louis Spohr. The soprano is accompanied by Tommaso Lonquich (clarinet), cellist Jonathan Slaatto and pianist Martin Qvist Hansen, known as the Danish Clarinet Trio. More information here.

On June 25th Mojca Erdmann returns to the Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin to sing Arnold Schönberg’s revolutionary Pierrot lunaire together with the Boulez Ensemble. The concert will be lead by conductor Thomas Guggeis.

Due to the ongoing Corona-crisis in Europe, Mojca Erdmann’s upcoming performances are unfortunately cancelled or postponed to later this year. You will find new information here as soon as possible.

Mojca Erdmann will take over the title role “Lulu” for Barbara Hannigan, who had to cancel her participation unfortunately, in Christoph Marthaler’s production at the Hamburg State Opera. The performances are on February 2nd, 5th, 7th and 9th. Tickets are available HERE


On December 11 and 12, Mojca Erdmann sings Strauss’ Lieder in Heidelberg with Elias Grandy conducting the Philharmonisches Orchester Heidelberg. She then performs at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg on December 2225 and 26, for three evenings of popular German Christmas carols with the Zürcher Kammerorchester, violinist Ray Chen, harpist Xavier de Maistre, speaker Katharina Thalbach and conductor Christoph Israel.
