Mojca Erdmann featured in [email protected] Opening Gala

On August 28, Mojca Erdmann joins pianist Sebastian Knauer, conductor Alexander Shelley, and the Camerata Salzbug for the opening gala of “KV 2015,” the annual [email protected] Festival. Mojca will perform several works by Mozart including arias from Le nozze di Figaro and Idomeneo, and “Ch’io mi scordi di te?,” the concert aria, which was captured on a recent album from Deutsche Grammophon with pianist Hélène Grimaud.

Celebrated for her “agile, clean, bright” tone, Mojca has been hailed in this repertoire: “Mojca Erdmann’s soprano voice was made for Mozart” (The Times).

The gala celebration also includes performances of Mozart’s Piano Concerto in A Major and Symphony No. 39. View full details here.
