Mojca Erdmann Appears at the Salzburg Festival in a Concert of 12 World Premieres

As part of her commitment to champion new composers, Mojca Erdmann appears with members of the Berlin Philharmonic and baritone Matthias Goerne at the Salzburg Festival on August 24 as part of “Beyond Recall,” a program of 12 world-premiere works inspired by 12 pieces of public art produced annually with the Salzburg Foundation.

Of the dozen new works, Mojca will be heard in Johannes Maria Staud’s zu “Caldera” von Anthony Cragg, Dai Fujikura’s zu “Sphaera”/”Frau im Fels” von Stephan Balkenhol, Vito Zuraj’s zu “Connection” von Manfred Wakolbinger, Olga Neuwirth’s zu “Ziffern im Wald” von Mario Merz, and Nina Šenk’s zu “Gurken” von Erwin Wurm. The works were selected and will be conducted by Matthias Pintscher, based on a concept by Bern Dinter.
