Schubertiade Festival recital with violinist Renaud Capuçon and Jérôme Ducros

This Saturday, September 1, German soprano Mojca Erdmann joins celebrated French violinist Renaud Capuçon and pianist Jérôme Ducros for an evening of art songs and chamber music by Richard Strauss and Georg Friedrich Händel at the Festival Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg. In addition to instrumental works by the two German-born composers, the program features arias by Händel, such as the tenderly lyrical “Süsse Stille, sanfte Quelle,” performed by the entire trio. In the second half of the program, Mojca sings some of Strauss’s most beloved lieder, including his deeply intimate “Morgen!” For full program details, please visit the Festival Schubertiade’s website.
