Mojca Erdmann sings German lieder at Vienna’s Musikverein

This week Mojca Erdmann joins pianist Gerold Huber for two evenings of art song at the Brahms-Saal in Vienna. The German soprano opens her recital with works by Franz Schubert, including the German composer’s dramatic and virtuosic “Gretchen am Spinnrade.” In the second half of her program, Mojca performs songs by Richard Strauss; selections by the master vocal composer include “Morgen,” “Allerseelen,” and the tender “Du meines Herzens Krönelein,” among many others. Following their Vienna concerts, Mojca and Gerold embark on an Asian recital tour that take the duo to Seoul, Korea and Tokyo, Japan.
