Mojca makes Met Opera debut as Zerlina in Don Giovanni


October 13 marks an important milestone in the career of the fast-rising soprano Mojca Erdmann, her debut with the Metropolitan Opera.

For her debut, she performs the role of Zerlina in one of Mozart’s masterworks, Don Giovanni. The new production by Michael Grandage will also be shown worldwide on October 29 as one of the Met’s Live in HD transmissions, bringing world class opera to movie theaters across the world.

Mojca shares the stage with baritone Mariusz Kwiecien in the title role, bass-baritone Luca Pisaroni as his servant Leporello, sopranos Marina Rebeka and Barbara Frittoli as Donna Anna and Donna Elvira, and tenor Ramón Vargas as Don Ottavio.
