Mojca Erdmann performs with Kuss Quartett at Ultraschall Festival


This Friday, Mojca Erdmann joins the Kuss Quartet on a program of Harrison Birtwistle, Enno Poppe, Helmut Lachenmann, György Kurtág and Dai Fujikura. The ensemble performs as part of the Ultraschall Festival, Berlin’s premiere festival for new music.

The German soprano sings Birtwistle’s 9 Settings of Lorine Niedecker with Mikayel Hakhnazaryan of the Kuss Quartet, and Dai Fujikura’s Silence seeking solace with the full quartet.

The evening’s concert will be broadcast on the radio three times – on Deutschlandradio Kultur on Saturday, January 21 at 7:05 pm CET and Monday, January 31 at 1:05 pm CET, and again on Kulturradio vom rbb on Wednesday, February 8 at 9:04 pm CET.

Following her engagement at the Ultraschall Festival, Mojca Erdmann returns to the Bayerische Staatsoper for two performances of Miroslav Srnka’s South Pole on January 21 and 23.
